Italian Prime Minister Paolo Gentiloni has arrived in Ghana for a two-day official state visit.

He was met at the airport by Vice-President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.

While in Ghana, Mr Gentiloni will hold bilateral talks with President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and interact with the Italian business community.

The visit is also expected to deepen bilateral relations between both countries.
